We have some great volunteer opportunities! Would you like to make a difference?  SAHRA is always looking for volunteers to donate time, energy and experience to make our community and our Association a better place! 

Study Group and Mentor Program

SPHR/PHR and PHRca study groups - We are seeking moderators to commit to 3 hour a week study sessions for 12 weeks. Moderators must have an SPHR, PHR or PHRca certification. This program is eligible for SHRM/HRCI continuing education credit. 

Mentor Program - Individuals with a minimum of 5 years HR experience who are willing to commit to mentoring an individual for approximately three months. The mentor and mentee would work together to determine what their interaction would look like, but at a minimum, there would be weekly interactions for about 90 days. This program is eligible for SHRM/HRCI continuing education credit.

Membership Committee

SAHRA is looking for members who want to inspire, engage, and attract local HR professionals with the great development resources, events, and opportunities our local chapter has to offer. Ideal volunteers for this role are passionate champions for our mission who love to meet new people, embrace a natural curiosity to understand the unique needs of our HR community, and identify new opportunities to elevate membership. There will be 1-hour quarterly committee meetings to align, equip, and imagine the possibilities to support the growth and innovation of the HR profession. Women's Empowerment Volunteer Opportunities

Women's Empowerment is ending homelessness, one woman and one family at a time! Women's Empowerment relies on the support of SAHRA member volunteers.
