Employers are understandably nervous when it comes to terminating employees, now that process during the Pandemic can get even trickier. Kimberley Worley will guide you through the quagmire of land mines, quicksand, trip lines and other hidden traps that can lead to claims and lawsuits.  You will come away with a road map to help you navigate the process and a check list to help you avoid hidden dangers, including those short-term COVID wrinkles when it is time to make changes in your employee roster.   You will learn about the applicable laws and the always interesting cases that refine and interpret those laws, as well as real life scenarios to which these laws and cases are applied.
Kimberley Worley has over 25 years of experience representing employers in matters ranging from individual discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and retaliation, to wage and hour compliance and general employment law concerns. She is a successful litigator and has guided numerous cases through all stages of litigation, from inception to successful conclusion, whether through law and motion, mediation, arbitration, jury trial, bench trial, or appeal.

Ms. Worley has defended her clients in both state and federal courts, as well as arbitration and administrative hearings before the DLSE, DOL, DFEH, and EEOC. She has sat first chair on jury and bench trials in state court, federal court, and arbitration.
