Discussions About Diversity: With a Computer?

As surprising as it seems, the data we’ve gathered points to employees being more comfortable sharing authentic feedback about Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion with an anonymous AI Assistant especially when the Assistant offers to take action based on how employees feel. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the workplace is a profoundly human topic. Conversations about this topic are not particular comfortable. When this topic gets brought up at work, even with the best of intentions, people start glancing around nervously. We asked: What if the topic was brought up in conversation by a machine? What if there were ways to make people feel exceptionally comfortable sharing their thoughts anonymously? Better yet, what if the computer was able to take action based on how employees feel?
Carolyn Peer (CEO and Cofounder of Humaxa) is an award-winning Human Capital Management industry leader with an MA in Instructional Technology and a BA in Cognitive Neuroscience. Carolyn started her HR Technology career as the Lead Instructional Designer at an early stage HR Tech startup called ProBusiness. ProBusiness was acquired by ADP in 2003. After taking a leadership position at ADP (running one of ADP’s Learning & Performance groups for National Accounts), she guided her teams to a top-20 placement in Training Magazine's Top 125 organizations and a top-5 placement in CLO Magazine's worldwide ranking in 2014. Between 2007 and 2016, Carolyn’s direct teams went from less than 50% engagement to 100% engagement. There wasn't a single other leader within the company's 5000+ leaders who had a higher engagement score in 2016. Carolyn left ADP in 2017 to join forces with two associates and found Humaxa, a Machine Learning-powered employee engagement and performance platform that connects feedback to actions via fun AI conversations.
