The pandemic has required many employees to work from home. While the immediate health benefits of limiting the spread of COVID-19 are obvious, it is important for employers to remember their employees’ mental health during this time. Learn to recognize the signs of self-isolation and depression, how to support and keep employees engaged, and resources that are available.
Marlene Nadler-Moodie is an expert in psychiatric nursing care with more than 40 years of experience. As a clinical nurse specialist for the Scripps Behavioral Health Team, she acts as a consultant, educator and clinician and has a drive to bring more psychiatric nurses into acute care and medical-surgical settings.
In 2009, Ms. Nadler-Moodie was awarded the Psychiatric Nurse of the Year by American Psychiatric Nurses Association, in 2016 was honored as the Behavioral Health Person of the Year for San Diego County, and was the 2019 recipient of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association’s Award for Distinguished Service.
