We certainly live in an unprecedented time, but what do you do when a people-first organization goesremote overnight? Raindrop is a branding and advertising agency located in Little Italy, San Diego andsees their employees and clients as friends. As the Director of People and Culture, Danny has had to navigate the whirlwind of a rapidly scaling agency to being temporary furloughed. Since being re-hired, he has had to re-imagine what it means to cultivate a people-first culture while navigatingthe new normal. This talk will provide space for leaders and practitioners to consider what their culture is and how to adapt to ever-changing landscape.
Danny Kim is the Director of People & Culture at a Raindrop Branding and Advertising Agency—a people first company. His purpose is to champion the people at Raindrop at every level. He is skilled at working with individuals and teams to create compelling experiences to help individuals and teams maximize their potential. He is a faculty at the Center for Creative Leadership and a Gallup-Certified Clifton Strengths coach.
Danny holds a B.S. in Biological Sciences and a Master of Divinity in Transformational Leadership. He holds a doctorate in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and his research focused on emotional intelligence, problematic smartphone use, and organizational culture.
Danny lives in San Diego, CA with his wife EJ and two dogs. He enjoys surfing, watching the Lakers, and engaging in meaningful conversation over a good cup of coffee.
