Effective November 1, 2016 all PHR/SPHR certification exams will be available on any day of the year. SHRM, however, still has a testing window for both Spring and Winter, and their Winter testing window runs from December 1, 2016 through February 15, 2017.  With HRCI’s change,  the Fall study group will begin later this year, on the week of August 29th. The series will wrap up at the end of the week of November 14th to meet the beginning of SHRM’s testing window on December 1st.  

SAHRA will be offering 12 weeks of study and test prep sessions this Fall. Sessions begin the week of August 29th and will take place from 6:00p.m. to 9:00p.m.  Each group will include two SPHR or PHR certified facilitators.  SAHRA is also looking into offering a study group for SHRM certification. You must be a SAHRA member to attend the study group series.

Attendees will purchase the study materials which have been designed by subject matter experts, and includes discussion questions, application exercises, and module exams to develop specific HR competencies.
