Women's Empowerment runs an 8-week job-readiness class for homeless women, as well as taking care of their children on-site. The job readiness class operates much like a school, and paper is used to create handouts, an extensive Job Seeking Skills manual, resumes, master applications, and readings for homework. Additional paper is needed for all of job-training programs and their advanced financial literacy class, called 'Money Matters'."
Join SAHRA in supporting Women's Empowerment, a community organization dedicated to assisting local women in need to reach their personal and professional goals. All SAHRA members are invited to participate in the Women's Empowerment paper drive by bringing your donation to the January 28th SAHRA Membership Meeting, How to Think Like an Attorney and When You Shouldn't.
Participants can drop off their contributions at the donation table at the next SAHRA meeting on January 28th!
