About our Speaker Gabe Lewall, Sr. Organization Development Consultant for SMUD. Gabe brings over 25 years of experience in human resource management and leadership development, spanning the public and private sectors. He is a Senior Organization Development Consultant within the 2,400-employee Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD), responsible for leading process improvement, change management, workforce planning, succession planning, organization design, strategic planning, employee engagement, leadership development, and talent management programs.
Gabe partners with leaders to develop tailored solutions to optimize workforce performance at the organization, team, and individual levels. He regularly coaches leaders at all levels.
Prior to joining SMUD in 2007, he was responsible for leading corporate training and succession planning at a publicly traded telecommunications company.
Gabe started his HR career at a real estate development and property management company where he held a variety of positions in operations and Human Resources, including national Staff Development Manager responsible for staffing and corporate training for 1,000 employees spanning 14 states.
Gabe earned master’s degrees in Human Resource Management and Instructional Design. He is certified in Design Thinking, Change Management, and Human Performance Improvement. Gabe is also a Certified Professional Coach and an ICF Associate Certified Coach.

If payment has not been received in the office at least seventy-two (72) business hours in advance of the event, your registration will be considered canceled. Cancellation Policy Cancellations must be received in writing to the SAHRA office 72 business hours prior to the event in order to receive a refund.
