BE PREPARED FOR 2025 - ATTEND SAHRA'S ANNUAL LAW UPDATE 

 

Get up to speed on the significant and complex changes to California employment law and be prepared for 2025! This presentation will provide an update of 2024 legislation affecting employers, 2024 case law developments, and practical takeaways for your business. Among other things, the speakers will provide an update on laws employers need to know, related to paid sick leave, employment arbitration clauses, and wage and hour law changes.

 

Lukas Clary is a shareholder in Weintraub Tobin’s Labor and Employment and Litigation practice groups.  Lukas has experience representing clients in all aspects of employment litigation.  He regularly handles claims involving allegations of workplace discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, unpaid overtime and wages, missed meal and rest periods, and class actions. Lukas also regularly counsels employers on compliance and litigation avoidance strategies, including leave management and the interactive process associated with accommodating employees with disabilities.  He also helps his clients craft employee handbooks and employment policies.

 

Gregory Blueford is an associate in the firm’s Sacramento office. He represents employers in all aspects of employment law in both state and federal courts. Greg’s practice focuses on wage and hour collective class actions, discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination claims, as well as labor relations. He also regularly counsels employers to assist them in avoiding litigation and staying compliant with California’s complex employment laws.
