Interested in earning your PHR or SPHR? SAHRA's upcoming study group can help you do just that.

The Professional in Human Resources - The (PHR) demonstrates your mastery of the technical and operational aspects of HR management, including U.S. laws and regulations. The PHR is for the HR professional who has experience with program implementation, has a tactical/logistical orientation, is accountable to another HR professional within the organization, and has responsibilities that focus on the HR department rather than the whole organization. The Senior Professional in Human Resources - The (SPHR) demonstrates your mastery of the strategic and policy-making aspects of HR management as practiced in the U.S. The credential is designed for big-picture thinkers responsible for planning rather than implementing HR policy. Organizations seek out SPHR professionals for their proven accountability for HR department goals, for breadth and depth of knowledge in all HR disciplines, and for understanding business issues beyond the HR function. The study group will meet weekly on Monday nights, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. from mid-October through December. The group will meet virtually with the potential for some in-person meetings.

We are seeking a participant who can host occasional study group meetings at their office. If your office is used for the study group, we can waive your registration fee. Contact Jenny for more info.

Study Group Fees

Textbook/Study Materials: $360 (includes shipping)
Registration Fee: $150
Total Cost: $510

At registration check out, be sure to select both the registration fee and the materials fee. Materials will be mailed to the address entered upon registration.

In order to participate in the study group, you must be a current member of SAHRA.

The deadline to register is Sunday, October 2nd. Because materials will be ordered, no refunds can be offered after this date.
