Alexandra Asterlin is a Partner at Palmer Kazanjian, and joined the firm in 2016. Ms. Asterlin represents local and national businesses in courts throughout California and in matters involving the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing (DFEH), and the California Division of Labor Standards Enforcement (DLSE). Ms. Asterlin litigates matters involving contracts, business torts, and unfair competition. Ms. Asterlin has extensive experience conducting workplace investigations, including those involving claims of harassment and discrimination or retaliation, whistleblower claims, wage and hour violations, workplace violence, employee misconduct, and poor performance.  With this background, she brings a unique perspective when evaluating documentation, ascertaining the credibility of witnesses, and connecting related facts to either corroborate or refute evidence.  Her experience also gives her a more extensive breadth of knowledge that enables her to give employers invaluable insight and legal opinions regarding possible violations of state or federal law and detailed recommendations for the steps they should take as a result.
