SAHRA Presents The Annual Legal Series!

Session 3

Thursday, June 23 | Presentation 7:30 AM to 10:00 AM

Resolving Workplace Conflicts Without Creating Liability

Presented by Melissa Whitehead, Esq., Shaw Law Group, PC

Because of the diverse interests and viewpoints in our workplaces, conflict is a natural occurrence.  We have strong views about politics, religion and many other issues, and with social media, it is impossible to separate “home” from “work” these days.  Successful leaders know how to channel these conflicts to solve problems, improve communications, and encourage employee engagement.  Join Melissa Whitehead from Shaw Law Group, as she provides practical insights and best practices regarding conflict resolution at work.  From active listening to preparing solid documentation, Melissa will help attendees understand the most effective ways to manage conflict and how to move on to avoid future issues and litigation.

Learning Objectives:

  • Learn why conflict at work occurs
  • Learn how to encourage conflict resolution
  • Understand how conflict can make an organization better
  • Learn how to manage conflict and avoid litigation
