HR & LinkedIn: The case for why HR should be active on LinkedIn & how it will help your organization

Let’s get social!  You’re busy, right?  Who has time to be on one more social media platform?  This session will be the first in a series, and during our first session, we will discuss why it is so important for HR professionals to have a LinkedIn profile, and be active on this social media platform.  This will be a working session, where you will learn the basics of LinkedIn, how to edit your profile, how to post, how often to post, and how your activity on LinkedIn can help your own career, your organization and your recruiting efforts.   In future sessions, we will further explore the power of LinkedIn, how it can promote your organizational culture, what to do when your own employees post content that is not in alignment with your company’s policies or values, and how to work cross departmentally to maximize your company’s messaging and brand online.

FREE for Members | $49 for Non-members

SAHRA Members are encouraged to bring a friend for free! If you have a friend that wishes to attend please email jenna@sahra.org with the name and email address of the individual.

You will receive instructions prior to the first session instructing you to create a LinkedIn profile if you don’t have one, know your login information and have a profile photo to use.  Each participant will be encouraged to have LinkedIn open during the session and make posts.
