11 Leadership Focused Sessions
Calling all HR professionals that are:
- Distinguished leaders of HR
- Consistent cheerleaders of HR
- A local voice toward engagement and HR advocacy
- Passionate and committed to learning more about a broad range of HR planning topics
- Missing opportunities to lead because you are not uniquely positioned to be successful at your current role/organization
We know how daunting it can feel to accept additional responsibilities and/or leadership roles before you feel ready. Especially, if you know there won’t be any subsequent training to help prepare you to be an adequate successor. If this sounds remotely familiar, then SAHRA’s new Board Ambassador Program, may be exactly what you need!
SAHRA’s new Board Ambassador Program is a set of instructor-led courses designed to give you a preview of what it takes to be a successful SAHRA board member; before you actually decide to run for an open board member position. It also gives you a great opportunity to understand organization leadership before feeling as though you’ve been thrown into it.
In today’s workplace, most organizations have a growing need for their HR professionals to have fiduciary responsibility, provide stewardship, ensure compliance and be held accountable for legal, financial and audit requirements, in order to remain competitive. This same focus and rigor can be applied to becoming a SAHRA board member. Why not take advantage of an opportunity that so many organizations completely overlook?
