SHRM/CalSHRM Overview

As a volunteer leader, Board members will need to better understand the structure, resources and roles between SHRM as an organization and CalSHRM as a supporting State Council. The learner will be introduced to a myriad of support features all designed to develop and engage board members, SAHRA members and the local Sacramento workforce.

Shauna Harrington is the Senior Director, Outreach and Executive Talent at VSP Global. She has over 34 years of experience in Human Resources. Prior to VSP, she had numerous HR positions in the healthcare, insurance, fashion and technology industries. She holds the SPHR, SHRM-SCP and many other HR/OD/Training & Development certifications. Shauna is a past SAHRA President and served on the SAHRA Board for 8 years. She still continues to volunteer her expertise.
