Financial Basics for Board Members of Non-Profit Organizations
This workshop is designed to introduce basic nonprofit accounting concepts and financial statements to individuals, such as Board members, who have had little or no experience with finance or accounting. Board members need basic skills in financial management to maximize the use of charitable dollars. Non-Profit Board members also need to know how to determine which financial standards are applicable to their organizations (i.e. 501 (c)(3), 501 (c)(6))
