SAHRA's Emerging Professionals (EP) group was formed in 2017 to serve as a forum for young HR professionals and those new to the HR industry in the Sacramento region. The EP group is lead by a committee of volunteers, which plans events and activities to support Emerging HR Professionals.  

SAHRA is now seeking an Emerging Professionals Committee Chair

The ideal candidate: 

• Is an Emerging Professional
• Maintains an active SAHRA professional membership  
• Has participated in SAHRA events or programs 

Commitments:

• Participate in quarterly Emerging Professional committee Zoom meetings
• Work with the committee, Board of Directors, and SAHRA staff to further develop the vision, and ensure successful implementation of the Emerging Professionals program
• Attend at least one SAHRA Board Meeting per year
• Participate in at least 50% of all SAHRA events focused on Emerging Professionals (currently there are 2-3 held per year)
• Provide quarterly written or video updates on the EP program for the SAHRA e-newsletter
