Mental Health in the Workplace
Members: $35 | Non-Members: $45 | Student Member: $30
At this session, we will discuss the many issues surrounding mental health in the workplace. What is protected under ADA and FMLA? What are reasonable accommodations for mental health issues? Are employees entitled to mental health leaves of absence? Are they entitled to a service animal and, if so, are there guidelines and restrictions? What can you tell other employees about the visible accommodations being provided for an employee with a potentially invisible disability? What can you ask? What can’t you ask? We’ll tackle these challenging topics and more. Join us and bring your questions, as we discuss this emerging topic faced by employers.
