Meetings: Monthly meetings are held in
Sacramento (normally held the last Wednesday of each month). Each
meeting includes a speaker on a subject directly related to a
segment of human resources.
Development: Two annual workshops or
seminar programs are designed to educate and build the skills of
the human resource professional on issues, topics and techniques
related to human resource management.
Newsletter: A monthly electronic
newsletter announces SAHRA's programs and activities, as well as
other current information important to human resource
professionals.
Directory: A directory of all SAHRA
members is provided on our website.
Networking: Support and interaction
with other members provide a network of individuals with diverse
knowledge and experience in all phases of the human resource
profession. A great way to do so is to be volunteer on a
committee.

this class have the right to vote and to hold office in the

of the foregoing categories but demonstrate a bona fide interest
in HR management and the purposes of the association. Associate
members may vote and hold office on the board, but are limited

required to be a member in good standing in the Society for Human
Resource Management (the national HR organization).
Student Members: Individuals maintaining at least 12 semester or 9 quarter hours,

Membership in our national association,
the Society for Human Resource

Association (SAHRA) are separate from those collected by SHRM.

the national association (SHRM).
