Diversity & Inclusion – How to Create Change Within Everyday Work

Diversity & Inclusion (creating the mix and making the mix work), micro inequities (small choices that create long term inequities), and unconscious bias (how we unconsciously interpret information or see others regardless of our best intentions) are all topics of discussion in today’s workplace.

In this presentation, we take a different approach to inclusion – focusing on how to create change within everyday work.  Based on neuro research, the concept of Nudges was born.  Why is this different? It’s applicable to any situation where the goal is influencing or driving change.

In this session we will:

·         Set the context for inclusion

·         Learn about Nudges – how to reframe the dialogue to shift the focus & insights for everyday leadership

·         Discuss resources available to you and your teams – including a blue print for how to build a diversity and inclusion “tapestry” within your team and relevant web links
